Money being raised for fallen Gilbert officer

GILBERT, Ariz. - Another East Valley business is raising money for fallen Gilbert Officer Lt. Eric Shuhandler.

Danny's Family Car Wash at San Tan Village is offering free car washes in exchange for a donation to the Shuhandler family.

Ken Casey with Danny's Family Car Wash says Shuhandler was a regular customer.

"He was a real outgoing, friendly guy," he said. "He didn't come across as a real hard-nosed police officer.

"He was very family-oriented."
