Studies Show Women Rule the Household

Men who think they're the king of the castle need to think again.

A study in the Journal of Counseling Psychology indicates wives are now making the big decisions and dominating discussions.

Phoenix therapist Sandra Nettles says it's because women are making as much as their husbands or even more, work long hours and have become more independent.

"I don't think she throws her weight around, she feels like she has justification," Nettles said.

Experts say wife power could signal a happy, harmonious couple.
